Notes: Offered here is a possible Hildesheim binding. However, EBDB attributes the stamps found on this binding to Cologne (Köln: Drache rund I: w002653). The example for EBDB's attribution seems to be a copy in the Berlin Staatsbibliothek. Perhaps someone could tell us if there is evidence in the Berlin copy that would rule out a Hildesheim attribution for that binding. Admittedly, the stamps on this binding are those for EBDB workshop w002653. However, they are also the stamps listed, as above, for the Hildesheim Godehard workshop in Schwenke-Schunke. Unfortunately, the early inscription in this copy is largely obliterated.
