Notes: The large free rose (rosette) stamp used on this binding is not included in EBDB's stamps for this shop. In fact, there seems to be some other confusing material in EBDB related to this bindery. Compare the stamp of the Pelican on this binding, and recorded as a Pelikan (s010268) in EBDB for this Augustinian monastic shop (w000910), with the stamp listed under Fabelwesen (s018774) for another Erfurt shop designated as w002592. These certainly seem to be the same stamp. Are these really two different workshops?
